My name is Greg Laddish.
I have 16 years of computer and IT experience. I entered the IT field at Ten Speed Press (a book publisher based in Berkeley), and soon became the IT manager. I then became the IT Director for The Tenderloin Housing Clinic (a housing non-profit in San Francisco). Most recently I was a Network Engineer for Echo Technology Solutions (an IT consulting company in San Francisco).
Now I work for myself and can treat my clients in ways that traditional IT support does not. I firmly believe that listening to you is the best way to help you properly. I do not rush to judgement about the root cause of your particular technical problem.
Everyone deserves a thoughtful solution to their individual IT issues. In my experience each system, network or computer is different and therefore requires a different solution. The trick is finding to best way to solve that problem. I enjoy both a good challenge and the feeling that my clients are empowered -not hampered- by their technology.
I grew up in Berkeley, graduated from Head-Royce, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and I live in North Berkeley with my wife and two kids.
